In the morning, proceed for sightseeing tour in and around Trivandrum. Trivandrum is the capital of Kerala. It is located at the west coast of India with trading traditions dating back to 1000 BC. Sightseeing tour around Trivandrum includes visit to Padmanabhaswami Temple, Srichitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum and Zoo. Kovalam is a beach town and it means grove of coconut trees. In the evening, travel back to Kovalam, where overnight stay is arranged.

Check out from the hotel after breakfast and head to Aleppey. Drive to Aleppey will take around 3 hours time (160 KM). Enjoy the natural beauty throughout the drive. Check into the houseboat on arrival. Enjoy ravishing overnight backwater cruise in delightfully decorated houseboats. Let your eyes spot skim past Chinese fishing nets, local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, bowed-down paddy fields and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves while cruising in these luxury houseboats. Check out after the breakfast and drive to Kumarakom, which is located 50 KM from Aleppey. In the afternoon, our representative will take you for local sightseeing in and around Kumarakom. Kumarakom is located near Kottayam, famous for its backwater tourism is set in the backdrop of Vembanad Lake. You can enjoy the beauty of Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary where you can spot many species of Migratory birds and also the backwater, which is spread over 900 sq. Km. in Kumarakom. After the breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Thekkady/Periyar, which is located 112 KM from Kumarakom. On arrival, you will be taken to the resort, a highly picturesque resort ideal for unwinding. Thekkady holds one of the extremely interesting wildlife reserves in the world. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary spread across 777 sq km and 360 sq km of this is thick evergreen forest. It was declared as Tiger Reserve in 1978 because of its diversity of wildlife, scenic natural beauty and its geographical features. Get refreshed and simmer down by enjoying a boat safari through the Scenic Periyar Lake in the evening.
